Shelly J. Hong
Shelly J. Hong moved to Canada from Korea at the age of five where she spent a disproportionately large amount of time in front of the television. She started her journey as an actor then moved behind the camera working in production for over 15 years. Her second short film, Mother Tongue, is currently being shown in festivals around the world. She is an alumnae of the Women in the Director’s Chair Career Advancement Module and currently in the Story and Leadership program.
Shelly is grateful for all those hours spent in front of the television which led her to the world of film and television.
